``Heavy Fuels`` Diesel Formula
This formula treats heavy, crude, and other residual fuel oils, and is intended for use in large slow-speed 2-stroke and 4-stroke diesel engines, as well as in “open flame” applications with steady-state combustion characteristics (e.g., in gas/combustion turbines, boilers and heaters).
Significant Fuel Savings
TFA’s current chemistry incorporates insights from our previous generation of products, which yielded +10% average improvement in fuel economy in large marine engines (applications included cargo, container, tanker, cruise and fishing vessels, and port-based and offshore supply fleets). Adds Additional Lubricity

Detergency
Cleaning and deposit reduction characteristics to keep the combustion spaces, fuel system and post-combustion spaces clean. Especially relevant for vessel owners where exhaust gas economizers are often used for heat recovery (such as the generation of potable water in cruise vessels, where fouling of the economizer gas-side reduces efficiency and incurs extra cost for the procurement of water). Also provides “soot blowing” advantages and cleaner operations for merchant vessels.
Anti-Corrosive
While most vessels and modern power plants treat fuel to remove water and sludge, TFHP-3 adds anti-corrosive properties to provide additional benefits and fuel stabilizing advantages.

TFHP-3 is especially designed with carefully selected, highly efficient and proven trace constituents that are environmentally safe and which help catalyse the combustion of these fractions (these trace constituents reduce the overall throughput of ash, metals and harsh materials through the combustion system).
